Everything below sorts into one of four jobs. Most people only need to know the two or three that match how they actually work.
Writing and composing
This is where a post starts. The AI assistant drafts and adapts copy per platform, first comments attach a scheduled follow-up comment at publish time, and the media library holds the images and video you attach across posts instead of re-uploading the same file every time.
Scheduling and queueing
Once a post is written, it needs a time slot and a destination. Bulk scheduling imports a batch from a CSV instead of one post at a time, posting times suggests when to publish based on platform norms, the post queue is where scheduled and retrying posts actually live, and multi-platform publishing sends one draft to several platforms at once with the per-platform adjustments each one needs.
Reusing content
Nobody has an infinite supply of new posts. Auto-repurpose reformats one piece of content for a different platform's shape and limits, and evergreen recycling reschedules already-published posts on a cooldown so a small library keeps a calendar full without repeating too soon.
Working with a team or client
The moment more than one person touches an account, coordination becomes the actual bottleneck. A client approval calendar puts a sign-off step in front of publishing, team collaboration covers roles and permissions inside a workspace, channel groups bundle accounts so you post to a client's whole set at once instead of picking each platform separately, and the activity log is the record of who changed or published what, useful the first time something goes out wrong and you need to know why.
What's missing
There is no analytics or reporting feature in this list, because Postonus does not have one. If tracking engagement or reach after a post goes live matters to you, that is a genuine reason to look elsewhere for that piece of the workflow.

- Do I need all thirteen of these?
No. Most accounts use five or six regularly. Composing, scheduling, and the queue are used by everyone; recycling and channel groups matter more once you have a content library or manage several client accounts.
- Which features are on the free workspace?
The free workspace covers composing, media, and drafting — everything up to the point of scheduling. Live publishing, the post queue, and recycle rules need a paid plan, because that is where publish gating applies.
- Is there an analytics feature?
No. Postonus does not have a post-performance or engagement analytics dashboard. If reporting on what already published is a requirement, that is a real gap here worth checking a competitor for.
- What is the difference between the queue and recycling?
The queue is the schedule for content you have not published yet. Recycling reposts something you already published, on a cooldown, so it is a second pass over old content rather than a new item in the queue.
