Postonus vs Pallyy. Simple, cheap, and missing a few things.

The real trade-off: cheap and simple, with real gaps

This one comes down to whether the missing pieces below matter to you, not whether Pallyy is a badly built product — nothing in the research behind this page suggests that.

Pallyy is inexpensive — Starter runs $15/month — and has a genuine free tier that can publish: one social set, 15 posts a month, no card required. What it is missing is specific rather than vague. No bulk CSV import was found anywhere in Pallyy's product or documentation. No evergreen recycling either. And no public API, CLI, or MCP server — we are stating that as "none found," not "does not have," because absence of evidence is not the same claim as a confirmed no.

Postonus ships all four of those: local-file CSV import at 50 per batch, recycle rules from Pro up, and an API, CLI, and MCP server on every plan including Free. If any of them is load-bearing for how you actually work, that is the whole comparison right there.

None of this makes Pallyy a bad product for what it targets. It reads as a tool built for someone managing a small handful of visual-first accounts who wants a cheap, simple interface and does not need to automate anything beyond the basic schedule-and-post loop. The gap only shows up once your workflow needs one of the four things above.

Platforms: ten vs sixteen

Pallyy covers 10 platforms. Postonus covers 16, and the ones Pallyy leaves out are Reddit, Discord, Telegram, Tumblr, WhatsApp, Snapchat, and Google Business Profile. Pallyy's own analytics, where it has any, is scoped to Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn only — a real constraint worth knowing if you post to any of its other seven platforms and expected reporting on all of them equally.

When Pallyy is the better choice

Be specific about this instead of hedging: if you run one or two accounts, mostly Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, at low posting volume, and you want basic built-in analytics for exactly those three platforms without paying for a separate tool, Pallyy at $15/month does that job simply. Its free tier can also actually publish, which Postonus's cannot.

What Postonus does not do

No analytics feature exists in Postonus at any price — not even the narrow Instagram/Facebook/LinkedIn-only version Pallyy has. If analytics for those three platforms specifically matters more than bulk import or recycling, Pallyy has something there and we have nothing. The Free workspace publish gate is the other honest limit: building and holding drafts is free, but a live schedule needs a paid plan.

Developer surfaces

No public API, CLI, or MCP server was found for Pallyy in this research — worth double-checking directly if a developer surface is a requirement, since "none found" describes the limits of the research rather than a definitive confirmation. Where this leaves the decision

Price alone will not settle this one — $12/mo and $15/mo are close enough that it comes down to what each plan actually includes. If your account count, platform list, and workflow fit inside what Pallyy ships, its free tier and simple pricing are a legitimate reason to stop there. If you need bulk import, recycling, or programmatic access at any point, that need will not resolve itself, and it is worth picking the tool that already has the feature rather than waiting on a roadmap.
