The real trade-off

Recycling: categories vs tags

Neither product reformats a recycled post for each platform — both reuse the same saved asset on a schedule. The difference is organization. SocialBee's categories are buckets you assign a post to once. Postonus's tags let a post belong to several pools at once without duplicating it, and the reuse cooldown lives on the rule rather than the post, so a fast-cycling rule and a slow one can draw from the same tag without starving each other. Client review: portals vs share links

SocialBee's Pro tier ($99/mo, 25 profiles, 3 users, 5 workspaces) includes white-label client portals — a branded interface a client logs into. That is a real feature for an agency selling "your own tool" to clients.

Postonus does not rebrand its interface. Instead, client approval works through revocable share links: a client reviews and approves a calendar without ever creating an account or logging into anything branded as yours. It is a smaller promise — no white-label skin — but it needs zero setup per client.

When SocialBee is the better choice

If a client-facing white-label portal is the actual requirement, and you are already budgeting $99/mo for it, SocialBee's Pro tier is a direct answer that Postonus does not have. Its content-category model is also genuinely more developed than a tag pool if your workflow depends on "evergreen" and "share-once" as distinct concepts rather than a single rule with a cooldown.

What Postonus does not do

• No white-label client portal. Approvals and share links work without a client account, but the interface is not rebranded.
• No content-category concept. Recycling is tag-plus-rule, which is simpler but has less of a track record than a decade-old category system.
