Schedule for
Every platform Postonus publishes to. Sixteen of them, and what each one demands.
Every scheduler claims the same platform list. What differs is what happens when you actually publish: which one silently rejects a vertical video, which needs a business account before the API will talk to you, which charges us per post. Each page below is written for one platform and reads its real limits from the same rules the publishing worker enforces.
Free workspace, no card required.
Sixteen platforms, five different jobs
The platform pages below sort into rough families. Reading the one family you publish to is more useful than scanning all sixteen.
Short video and reach
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are where the media rules bite hardest — aspect ratio, duration, and codec are all enforced by the platform rather than by us, so a file that uploads fine to one is rejected by the next. Facebook shares Instagram's Meta plumbing and its business-account requirement.
Professional and long-form text
LinkedIn is the one platform where the same post performs differently depending on whether you attach a link, and where a scheduled first comment is the usual way around that.
Text-first and fast
X (Twitter), Threads and Bluesky all want short posts published often. X is the only one of the three we meter per tier, for the API cost reason in the FAQ below.
Communities and groups
Reddit, Discord, Telegram and WhatsApp publish into a space someone else moderates. Subreddit rules and server permissions matter more here than anything in the composer. WhatsApp Groups support is in beta.
Discovery, visual, and local
Pinterest and Snapchat treat a post as an asset to be found later rather than a moment in a feed. Tumblr sits closest to blogging. Google Business Profile is not social at all — it is the post that shows up next to your business in Maps and Search.
Publishing to several at once
Most accounts do not pick one. Writing the post once and sending it to a set of platforms is the multi-platform publishing flow, and channel groups save that set so a client's whole roster is one selection rather than six.

All platforms
- Bluesky schedulerSchedule Bluesky posts with grapheme-accurate counting against the 300-character limit, connected with an app password instead of an OAuth hop.Read
- Discord schedulerSchedule announcements to a Discord channel from the same calendar as your public social posts, so a community update is not a manual task at a fixed hour.Read
- Facebook schedulerSchedule Facebook page posts with up to ten media items and a first comment queued alongside, from the same calendar as every other channel.Read
- Google Business ProfileSchedule Google Business Profile updates alongside your social channels, so the listing customers actually find is not the one nobody has touched in a year.Read
- Instagram schedulerSchedule Instagram posts, carousels, and Reels with a first comment queued alongside, plus free tools for splitting grids and carousel panoramas.Read
- LinkedIn schedulerSchedule LinkedIn posts to a personal profile or a company page, with a first comment queued alongside and an accurate preview before anything publishes.Read
- Pinterest schedulerSchedule Pins alongside your other channels, with the image dimensions that matter on Pinterest handled by a free resizer before you upload.Read
- Reddit schedulerSchedule Reddit posts from the same calendar as your other channels, with the caveat that subreddit rules, not just platform limits, decide if a post survives.Read
- Snapchat schedulerSchedule Snapchat content from the same calendar as your other channels, with the tightest character budget of any platform handled by an accurate counter.Read
- Telegram schedulerSchedule Telegram channel posts with a bot token, and see the caption limit change when you attach media — 4,096 for a message, 1,024 with an image.Read
- Threads schedulerSchedule Threads posts with a first comment queued alongside, so links land under the post instead of crowding the 500-character caption meant for your idea.Read
- TikTok schedulerSchedule TikTok videos and photo-mode posts from the same calendar as everything else, with limits checked against what TikTok actually accepts.Read
- Tumblr schedulerSchedule Tumblr posts with room for long-form writing — one of the highest character allowances of any platform, on the same calendar as your other channels.Read
- WhatsApp schedulerSchedule WhatsApp broadcasts from the same calendar as your social channels, so the highest-engagement channel you own is not the one you post to by hand.Read
- X (Twitter) schedulerSchedule X posts and threads, with URLs counted the way X counts them and a per-plan cap that reflects what X actually charges for API access.Read
- YouTube schedulerSchedule YouTube uploads with the title counted against its own 100-character limit, not the description’s, and a free checker showing where it truncates.Read
Questions
Frequently asked questions Everything the first evaluation usually needs.
- Do I have to connect every platform?
No. Connect the ones you publish to and ignore the rest. The free workspace allows three connected channels, which is enough to see whether the publishing side works for you before you pay.
- Why is X (Twitter) metered separately?
X charges roughly $1 per 100 posts through its Basic API, so it is the one platform whose per-post cost we pass through as a per-tier cap. Every other platform is free or near-free for us and shares the general monthly allowance.
- Which platforms need a business or professional account?
Instagram and Facebook publishing runs through the Meta Graph API, which requires a Professional or Business account linked to a Page. Pinterest and Google Business Profile also need business accounts. The rest accept a personal account.
- What happens when a platform changes its API?
Per-platform limits live in one place in our code, so a changed character count or media rule is a single edit that updates the composer, the validation, the publishing worker, and the page you are reading.
