The consequence for multi-platform posting is direct: whatever shared body you wrote for the rest of your channels will not fit. Snapchat is the channel that always needs its own version.

Vertical video travels, copy does not

If you are already producing short-form vertical video for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, the asset itself is reusable here — that is the format working as designed.

The text is the part that has to change, and not by trimming. A caption cut down from 200 characters to fit a much smaller budget reads like a truncated sentence, because that is what it is. Write the short version as a short version. Auto-repurposing does this per destination rather than truncating.

Where it fits

Snapchat is rarely a primary channel for the audiences Postonus is built for, and it would be odd to claim otherwise. Where it earns its place is as one more destination for video you are already making — the marginal cost of adding it to an existing batch is a caption, not a production.
